Our Story

Hello!

We’re Elise and Charlie and we’re a husband and wife team and the founders of Gaia Vibrance Wild Spa. We actually had our very first date in a Sauna! And Spa fun has been a shared passion ever since.

When we are not creating Wild Spas we also run yoga retreats, make sacred/healing music, and each have a private therapeutic practice from our home in Ashburton. You can find out more about our other work at www.eliseandcharlie.com

The inspiration to create Gaia Vibrance Wild Spa came during lockdown when we were unable to visit our local sauna. We missed this weekly wellbeing ritual, and at the same time we were loving spending more time outside in our garden and in the beautiful wild places of our home county; Devon. As our fantasy of having a sauna at home grew into one that we could pull on a trailer to take to our favourite festivals and beauty spots in nature, we were fortuitously introduced by friends to builder Eloi Cardon. A builder by trade but with a change of career in process to focusing solely on sauna builds, he enthusiastically took on the challenge to build us a bespoke 8 person trailer sauna. And the rest as they say, is history!
