SAUNA SAFETY GUIDELINES & DISCLAIMER FOR GAIA VIBRANCE LTD

*Please read the following guidelines and safety advice, this needs to be acknowledged and our disclaimer signed before completing your booking.

  • Please arrive promptly for your sauna session time, late arrivals will result in having less time in the sauna.

  • Take care when entering the sauna, especially if wet on the steps and surrounding areas.

  • The Sauna door must be kept closed.

  • Do not stay in the Sauna for more than 15 minutes at a time; a good average working temperature is 80°C. If you want to increase the humidity to get a good sweat up, carefully add water on top of the hot coals. 

  • We recommend that you do not use the Sauna under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you are taking prescribed medication, please consult your doctor before using the Sauna. 

  • Please do not use the Sauna if you are pregnant.

  • No children under 4 years old are permitted in the Sauna, as they cannot regulate their body temperatures suitably. All children under 16 using the Sauna must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Instruct your children to shower and visit the toilet prior to use of the Sauna.

  • No wearing of jewellery as it may become too hot.

  • All guests must sit on a towel. 

  • Some sauna sessions permit nudity and others do not, depending on the location and nature of the event. Please check when you arrive what the policy is and be prepared to wear bathing costumes if necessary. 

  • No lotion, oils, perfumes, essential oils or any other fragrances in the sauna. We will provide organic essential oils for usage in the sauna.

  • No drying clothes or towels over or near the wood burning stove.

  • In between sittings there is a cold bucket shower and we advise some time outside in the fresh air.

  • Exit immediately if uncomfortable, dizzy or sleepy.

  • All guests should drink plenty of water during and after sauna usage.

  • Do not touch the wood burning stove as it gets extremely hot during operation. Ask a member of staff for help if assistance is needed for the wood burning stove. 

  • COVID PROTOCOL: Please do not visit the sauna if you are unwell. In between each sauna session all areas are thoroughly cleaned and ventilated. We ask all guests visiting the sauna to have their temperature taken before with an infrared thermometer. We are unable to admit anyone with a high temperature. Refunds will be issued if this is the case.
